Residential Care in Cromer, Norfolk

Sunny Court is a residential care home for adults with functional mental health disorders. At Sunny Court our team care for individuals, in a home environment to help achieve the best quality of life, supporting individuals back to full independence, within our society. 

Sunny Court is situated within  a lovely, Victorian, spacious house, with a true homely atmosphere.  It is located in Cromer, a coastal Town in North Norfolk.   It is in a central location, so Town centre, near to shops, cafes and other facilities,  all a short walk away.   It is also close to the Cromer medical practise and Cromer hospital.  The sea front is also a short walking distance, and there is close access to public transport both buses and a train station.

Our philosophy

The underpinning philosophy of Sunny Court is very simple, we delight in supporting individual people on their journey of recovery, enabling and encouraging independence,  equipping our residents to obtain necessary life skills under the umbrella of actively combining rehabilitative care and recovery, through person centred care, working in partnership, an interagency collaboration.

We provide an approach to rehabilitation that brings structure to the lives of our residents through listening, encouraging, and enabling individuals to be fully involved in all aspects of their lives, considering options, and making informed choices; with understanding that recovery is individual to the individual person, and be involved in their ‘Home’.

We are passionate about treating residents with dignity and respect, offering people choices and assistance to gain greater control and autonomy over their lives. 

The focus of care is directed at increasing trust, hope, strengths, skills, and knowledge for individuals, to maximize their potential for greater independence.

Support team and culture 

Our team has a wealth of  experience in helping residents with mental health issues. It is vital to us that all our staff are caring, patience and proffesional at all times. All staff will undergo required training (for their roles) and checks before joining us, as stated by the Care Quality Commision. There is also continued training for all staff covering vital areas like such as care of medicines, first aid, specalisit and safeguarding. 

We are a small but mighty team, and we also like to promote from within.
